Statement

Modern architecture, technology and magazines have had a big impact on me as a creative person. I’m also a long-time pianist who has been teaching music to children for years which can be seen in my simplified, rhythmic designs. As I began my teaching journey, I noticed how short people’s attention could be in focusing toward a single subject due to distraction from having too much elements in a single composition. With that in mind, I try my best to keep my designs as simple as possible because the simpler a design is, the more effective it is in gaining attention and in communicating to a specific audience. Whatever project I am working on, whether it is a branding identity, a poster, or even an experimental typography, my goal is to be as minimal as possible without removing any essential element in a composition. However, my designs are mostly identified in the form of digital and print media such as advertisements, packaging, and logos.
